T Bob’s Corner is a cozy Halal and Muslim-owned Steakhouse located in the cozy heartlands of Bedok (latest update: they have moved to a new location at Bugis and they have other new outlets at Changi and Woodlands as well). They serve Premium Quality Steaks like Black Angus Striploin, Tomahawk, Wagyu Ribeye, Rack of Lamb, Seafood, Pastas and more!
We visited T Bob’s Corner on a Sunday afternoon, reaching there around 1 pm with no initial booking. 3 families were already in and during our 1 and half hours there, at least 3 new groups came in. Their decor wise was rather America Cowboy-Style and they had a lot of woody furniture.
For Payment, we paid after our meal and they accepted only Nets and Cash. They also seemed to accept other options like GrabPay and FavePay (from the stickers at the counter). Other additional charge included the 10% service charge and there was no GST.

For their Mains, they had a lot of Meats to offer like Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Burger, Seafood, Pastas, Rice and various Sharing Options like Rack Of Lamb ($89.90), Angus Tomahawak ($159.90), Ribs Platter ($55.90) and Wagyu Ribeye ($149.90).
For their Drinks, they had Hot, Iced, Juiced, Shakes and Desserts.
We went with the Wagyu Ribeye ($149.90) under the Sharing Section and 3 Layer Thai Green Tea ($5.90) and 3 Layer Coffee ($5.90) under the Iced Section. We found interesting ones like Iced Virgin Mojito ($6.90) and Nutella Marshmallow Shakes ($7.90).
— Wagyu Ribeye ($149.90)

We were lucky that they had this Wagyu Ribeye without any reservation required.
The description of this item on the menu says that the:
- Meat is between 450 – 500g
- MS (should be Marble Scoring) is 6/7 (grade 6 and onward means that that this is one of the best)
- Meat is also intense fat marbling and extremely tender
We had the option to choose the done-ness: Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well. We went with Medium Rare.
Our alternative was the Angus Tomahawk ($159.90) which is a bone-in Ribeye between 1.2 – 1.4kg and high fat marbling. This item is meant for 3 persons and above. Our thought was we had already tried the Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse’s Florentina so we should try other options.
The preparation for the Wagyu Ribeye took around 20 minutes.
![T Bob's Corner - Our Wagyu Ribeye Lunch (Bedok) 4 T Bob's Corner - Wagyu Ribeye Chunks](https://images.eattravelshiok.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/30104939/TBob-Meat.jpg)
We tasted three different textures from the Wagyu Ribeye. There were the Chewy chunks (it came with a generous fats portion), the Tender chunks (main portion) and the Crispy chunk (mostly from the outer layer).
The butter that was on top of the meat melted away quickly and added a thin layer of buttery taste and made the meat more shimmering.
We were initially worried that the fats would be too hard to chew through and swallow but we were amazed that the fats melted away within our mouth. Another good thing was that the Wagyu Ribeye came in a single chunk so no meat was wasted.
The Wagyu Ribeye was also well-marinated so we could taste the saltiness in and out. The saltiness was not really over-whelming.
The sauce added a little taste but the meat was good enough to be eaten on its own. Sides came with a few pieces of potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms and various greens.
— 3 Layer Coffee ($5.90) & 3 Layer Thai Green Tea ($5.90)
![T Bob's Corner - Our Wagyu Ribeye Lunch (Bedok) 5 T Bob's Corner - 3 Layer Coffee and 3 Layer Thai Green Tea](https://images.eattravelshiok.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/30104929/TBob-Drinks.jpg)
We were curious on what the 3-Layer was so we ordered the 3 Layer Coffee ($5.90) and 3 Layer Thai Green Tea ($5.90).
They came with a nice presentation – the bottom layer was possibly Caramel, middle layer was Evaporated Milk followed by Green Tea/Coffee on the Top Layer.
The bottom layer (Caramel) tasted very sweet on its own so we went with the healthier option of not mixing the bottom layer at all. We just did a quick mix of the middle (Milk) and top (Coffee/Green Tea). Overall both tasted normal.
Note that this review was done from their Bedok Outlet. The latest update was that they have moved to a new outlet at Bugis and they have other outlets at Changi and Woodlands. Please see the addresses below.
