The Xiang Xiang Hainanese Chicken Rice Stall is run at elderly lady (used to be a couple but the Uncle is no longer around) and sells Steamed, Roast and sometimes Soy Chicken, Char Siew, Roasted Pork Belly with the additional options to add Eggs, Vegetables and Gizzards. We always go with their Steamed Chicken with the add-ons of Char Siew or Roasted Pork Belly and a Sunnyside up (Total is $8). It also comes with a bowl of Cabbage & Carrot soup which are sweet to taste. Their chilli and dark sauce are a good mix and can spice things up. Rice is Chicken Rice (option for White Rice) and very fragrant. Note that she only accepts cash.
Hot & Cold Drink Stall (01-05)

The Hot & Cold Drink Stall is run by a middle-aged guy and sells hot and cold drinks. We always go for their Iced Kopi-C Kosong ($1.40) and this price is definitely considered one of the cheapest therefore there is always some queue but his actions are also very fast.

This Amoy Roasted Delights Stall is operated by two guys and they sell roasted meats like Roast Duck, Roast Chicken, Char Siew, Roast Pork Rice and various Soups like Watercress, Old Cucumber, Sichun Veg, Bitter gourd, White Radish Pork Ribs Soup. Price starts from $3.50 for the Roasted Meat Rice and $3 for the Soup. Random long queues form during lunch hour. We tried their Char Siew & Roasted Pork Rice ($5) where the Roasted Pork was crispy, no bones, with fats and the Char Siew was tender and nice. Gravy was not overwhelmingly sweet and went well with the white rice. Cucumber slices were crunchy and we also tried Old Cucumber Pork Ribs Soup ($3) where the Pork Ribs were cooked so well that every piece could be eaten whole. Soup was well soaked with the old cucumber essences and not oily. Chilli was not that impressive.
老妈子板面 Grandma Ban Mian (01-07)

This 老妈子板面 Stall is operated by a Chinese Couple and is quite a popular stall over at Amoy Street Food Centre with frequent long queues around 12noon. They sell Mee Hoon Kueh (Chilli, Soup, Dry), Ban Mian (Chilli, Soup, Dry) with price starting from $5.80. We tried their Dry Ban Mian ($5.80) which came with Crispy Ikan Billis, Springy Mushrooms, Tenderly Chewy Black Fungus, Flavourful Minced Meat and Ban Mian. Gravy and their Chilli had their signature tastes. There was also a bowl of soup with strong vegetable taste. They also sell Instant options of their Chilli Ban Mian and Soup Ban Mian as well as Bottles of Grandma Chilli and Grandma Belacan.
Amoy Street Lor Mee (01-08)

This Amoy Street Lor Mee Stall sells mainly Lor Mee with three different price options – $3.50, $4.50 and $5.50. We always go for the $5.50 options which came with more ingredients and a Japanese-styled Half Boiled Egg. Noodle portion is just nice for one person. The gravy is thick and authentic. Meats and fish chunks are satisfyingly good.
Soon Lee Vegetarian (01-09)

This Soon Lee Vegetarian Stall has been at Amoy Street Food Centre for many years and is operating by a couple. This stall sells You Tiao, Ham Chee Peng, Butterfly, Peanut Sesame Ball, Bean Paste Sesame Ball at $1 each. At certain times, you may get to see them kneading the dough and frying them. The taste is fresh but can be a little oily at times for the You Tiao. They do not always have long queue and is good to support them!

This stall sells a variety of affordable Japanese Dons like Gyudon, Tori Don, Tonkatsu Don, Cheesy Katsu Don, Curry Don, Mentaiko Don and Gyoza. Price starts from $7.50 for the Dons. Gyudon was unavailable that day so we tried his Tori Don with Black Pepper ($7.50) where it came with corns, carrots, runny egg, around 5 pieces of chicken slabs and covered with black pepper sauce. We liked the clean, white state of the chicken breast meat and each bite had a slight crunch to it. Sauce was thick and peppery.

This Homemade Noodles Stall is operated by a one-man and newly opened on August 2023. This stall sells 3 items – Signature, Fishball and Dry Curry Chicken Handmade Noodles and price starts from $5.50. Overall taste was good with only the pork slices a bit too tough.

We tried their Sliced Fish with Meatball Soup and Bao Zai Noodle ($7.70). It was a rather big bowl with lots of flavourful soup, noodles that was just enough for one and countable pieces of fish (around 5-6) and 2 meatballs. Fish Slices were chunky, thick and really nice. Meatballs had some chives and crunchy bits (chestnut?). They have also those bean paste sauce to elevate your taste buds with sourness and saltiness. Amount of rice was barely enough for one so you may want to ask for more rice to keep you full for long. Pork Belly was very nice with a chewy texture. Tau Pok was also very nice. Curry was very fragrant and thick. Queue starts forming up around 11.30am.

We also tried their two types of chilli – one that was rather dry, shrimpy taste and can be very spicy when mixed with the broth and noodles (the lady will ask during your order) and the other one was placed outside which had a hot and soury taste.which went well with the meats. The lady will also pour in a few spoonfuls of lime which elevated the taste. Do support them especially on a rainy day as they are not tech-savvy (no Food Deliveries or Digital Wallet payments)

We went the $5.90 and chose items like Broccoli, Corns, Baby Tomatoes, Olives, Soba, Diced Chickens with Thai Sweet Sauce as the Dressing. Serving size was good for one but could be quite filling. Ingredients were fresh and simple. Overall, this meal was satisfying. Only issue was the toppings and proteins were in rather small containers and packed closely together so it could be hard to choose when the crowd tempos picked up.

This Jin Hai Cooked Food Stall is operated by a Chinese Uncle and is selling Hor Fun and Fried Rice, price starts from $5 and accepts QR Code payments. We always try his Fried Rice with an Additional Fried Egg ($6). Fried Rice has a good Wok-Hey taste with sweet chewy char siew. We tried their Egg Fried Rice with Stir Fried Beef & Onion ($7.50) where it came with that kind of beef used in Yoshinoya which had a certain braised flavour and sweet because of the onions. It came with a bit of greens with mayo and a chilli paste that was really spicy. Rice looked yellowish (due to the egg) and brown and had that little crunch in it.

This Bowl came with Healthy Blue Butterfly Pea Rice, Baby Tomatoes, an Onsen Egg with Furikake, Cucumbers, Corns, around 8 pieces of Wagyu Beef slices with Burnt Mentaiko on top. Rice was very starchy and we felt full quite fast. Wagyu Beef is cooked Medium, with a bit of bouncy texture on the edge and tasted a little too peppery as well. Corns, Baby Tomatoes and Cucumbers were fresh and crunchy. Another popular choice is their Mentaiko Salmon.

This Shi Nian 石年 Stall is a pretty new stall over at Amoy Street Food Centre and is a franchise stall well-known for its Pig Trotter Rice. Random long queue forms around 11.30 and there is a certain amount of waiting time. We tried their Pig Leg Rice ($5.90) and Pig Intestine ($5). Serving size for the Pig Leg Rice was rather small and was not really enough to satisfy one person. There was an option to add more rice. Chilli was a must-try. He added in a little with no extra charges. Ingredients included fish cakes, hard boiled egg, bean sprouts, greens and three Pork Ribs with different meat textures. Ingredients include Chewy Tender Shimeji Mushrooms, lots of Small Chicken Chunks, a lot of Soft Onions and Herbal Leaves. We liked that it came with no lemon grass.
