Our Experience With The Churaumi Enjoy Pass
We bought and used the Churaumi Enjoy Pass for our Okinawa Trip during the period of 30/11/2019 to 06/12/2019.
Our Initial Concerns
Our initial concern was that when we arrived on 30/11, half the day would be gone which meant that 1 day was wasted and we would only have 4 days to fully utilize the Pass. Luckily the back of the coupons stated that the 5 days to start from the first usage and there was also nothing to indicate the first usage so we guessed the usage was pretty flexible.
The other concern was to choose between the Mini Churaumi Enjoy Pass or the Churaumi Enjoy Pass. We had planned our itinerary and the Churaumi Enjoy Pass would be a better choice but we would not know if our plans could change last minute when we were there. In the end, we went ahead with the Churaumi Enjoy Pass and that was a good decision.
Price (In SGD) Comparison Between KKDay & Klook
Overall prices were competitive between KKDay and Klook but for the Churaumi Enjoy Pass, KKDay was cheaper by 60 cents and we could get an additional 5% off if purchased from the App versus 3.5% cashback for both from ShopBack. So we just bought from KKDay.
Note that there can be other ongoing discounts and promotions at this point so please check them out and compare first before making your purchase.
Application And Redemption
Application was rather straightforward. We just applied through the KKDay App with one of our full names listed as per the Passport, the Redemption Date and our Payment Details. Once submitted and payment approved, we received an email with the booking details. Payment Details were not in the email but only in the App / Website.
Shortly after, we received the redemption voucher in PDF Format which we printed out (mobile copy should be okay but we just played safe). There was initially quite a bit of misleading information in the voucher like our name appearing as a Tour Leader and listed as part of the SUNRISE Tour but nothing to be worried about for Redemption and utilizing.
Redemption was also pretty easy. Upon arrival, we turned left, walked towards the end and we reached the JTB Okinawa Naha Airport Branch. We presented the printed voucher and the passport and we were given two Coupon Booklets as well as some other discount coupons.

As that day of our visit was a rainy day, we could not really see much of the animal activities.
So Is The Churaumi Enjoy Pass Worth It?
On Usage
Firstly, the 5-Day Validity seemed to be very flexible. The back of the coupons stated that the Validity Period would start only after the first usage and not from the Redemption Day (both KKDay and Klook were quite misleading). Secondly, no indication on the coupons for the first usage. Thirdly, the staffs at the Attractions did not do any checking and were happy to receive us, took and tore away the coupons and gave us the official tickets.
On Savings
In total, we visited 7 attractions which amounted to 7270¥ versus the price of the Pass which was at 4400¥ (local selling price and price roughly after exchange rate conversion). We saved around 2870¥ per person.
Some Tips
Many of the highlights in the above attractions like Glass Blowing, Sanshin Guitar Playing, Accessories Making, Indigo Printing, T-Shirt Painting, Shi-Sa Painting, Local Fruits, Pineapple Juices can be found at multiple attractions so even if you missed out doing at one, you can still do it at another attraction.
Conclusion
The Churaumi Enjoy Pass is definitely worth it in terms of cost savings and usage flexibility if you intend to visit a handful or all of the attractions in your Okinawa Trip.
