Our Teng Sheng Korean BBQ Buffet Restaurant Review

Teng Sheng Korean BBQ Buffet Restaurant is located inside ITE College Central (Ang Mo Kio) where you can enjoy Korean-Style Marinated Meats and dishes at just $20 nett per person.
We visited the ITE College on a Sunday afternoon (pretty quiet except for some people at the Supermarket) and it took us like 10 minutes to walk from the Parking Lot (free on Sundays and Public Holidays) to Block F (deep inside the college and near to the Soccer Field). Along the way we got to see interesting sections of the College like Animation Studios, miniature Oil Rigs, life-size Planes and Turbines, stories-high Green Walled Garden and bubbling Sidewalks (we felt a moment of serenading).
— Payment
When we reached, the surrounding food outlets were closed but the Teng Sheng Korean BBQ Restaurant was still bustling with customers. We made our payment of $20 per person (no GST and no Service Charge) at the counter, collected our utensils at the side and we were directed to our table by the side.
— Setup
Once we were settled down, the cooking stove area was setup quickly. One Lady (the Boss?) brought over a set of tongs and scissors and applied one layer of Parchment Paper to the stove first followed by applying a layer of oil on top and after that applied another layer of Parchment paper and we could start taking our food items.
— Food Items

Beside the payment counter was their Cooked Food area where we could get Rice, Soup(s), Soft and Non-Gassy Drinks (can try their Korean Rice Water which tasted like Barley Water) and Fried Finger Foods like Gyoza, Spicy Rice Cakes, Nuggets and Spring Rolls.

Opposite the cooked food section would be where Sauces, Vegetables, Meats and Miscellaneous Items were.
They had Sauces like:
- Mayonnaise Sauce
- Garlic Sauce
- (Sepreal? = Very Spicy) Chili and Chili Sauce
- Soya Sauce
- Tomato Sauce
- Korean Chili Paste
Small items like:
- Potato Slices
- Sweet Corns
- Garlic
- Onions
- Green and Red Chili
- Baby Tomatoes

The start of the Meats Sections, there were:
- Crab Sticks
- Hot Dogs
- Fish Slices
- Inoki Mushrooms
- Squids
- Prawns
- Luncheon Meats

The Main Meats Section had Marinated (Spicy) and Non-Marinated of:
- Chicken, Beef, Pork Belly and Pork Collar

The Vegetables and Fruits Section included:
- Cabbage
- Lettuce
- Watermelon
- Oranges
- Coleslaw
- Kimchi
- Seaweed
- Black Fungus
- Pickled Radishes
— Food Taste And Overall

- Soy Sauce was really salty and the two types of Chili could be really spicy. We mixed them up with the Korean Chili Sauce and Garlic Sauce and they went well with the food items but we were thirsty pretty fast after our meal.
- For Drinks, we went with their Korean Rice Water which tasted like rather bland Barley Water.
- For starters, we went with their Pickled Radish to perk up our appetite. Seaweed and Coleslaw were nice. Kimchi was just so-so.
- For the Marinated Meats, we went with lots of Pork Belly which came with fats and we could taste the melting fats once they were cooked over the stove. We also wrapped them with the Lettuce which made the taste less oily (and ate like the Koreans).
- Chicken and Beef were just okay.
- For the small items, we went with the Crab Meat Sticks and lots of Squid. Squid took a while to cook. We did not try the fish slices as it would stick to the parchment paper.
- We liked the cooking area a lot. The excess oil would flow to both sides of the area and the parchment paper could endure more than an hour of grilling / cooking.
- The service was also pretty good and they would help to change the parchment paper every now and then. Only issue we had was that they did not collect back those used plates (there was already a stack) till we left.
